Blackwall had been happy with the Rhillim. He had been happy in the Rhil. But all that changed when he agreed to cross the Nebbegaard and journey deep into the heart of the Catadhan to the small town of Errabundis. He wondered now what ridiculous notion had possessed him to leave the Rhil and the ignorant comfort of the Rhillim Empire. What made him think that he could return to the Catadhan and yet remain untouched by it?
The Rhillim armies then crossed the Ringerrige Mountains and descended upon the Catadhan proper. Here they encountered and vanquished the nomadic Catadhi, achieving a resounding victory in a short time and securing the key caravan city of Errabundis for the still greater glory of the Rhillim Empire. This history, entrenched in Rhillim culture and legend over the last 350 years, Lilles discovered, was nearly a complete fabrication.
